![]() Try a search on the 1/2a forum for "Guillows" - you'll find a lot of valuable info about Guillows planes in general, and converting them to RC in particular. ![]() At this scale, landing gear doesn't work on grass (except for putting greens, although the golfers get upset if you land when they're putting) but if you have a paved runway then they can work. ![]() The Corsair's gull wings make belly landing a challenge, and it will spin / cartwheel down the runway unless your landings are nearly perfectly flat. 061 will probably power it - By light I mean no more than 15 oz, and that rules out folding wings, retracts, landing gear in general, sliding canopies, etc. It flew, but it's not for the faint of heart or slow of reflex, and mine works better as a display model hanging from my son's ceiling than it does with a regular slot in my flying rotation. I converted the Guillows Zero a few years ago because I was bored, had a lot of time on my hands, and wanted to see if it could be done. The short quick answer is that it can be done, just not easily.
